Clinical observation on Fuling Xingren Gancao Decoction combined with furosemide in treatment of chronic heart failure with diuretic resistance
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Fuling Xingren Gancao Decoction combined with furosemide in treatment of chronic heart failure with diuretic resistance(CHFDR).Methods Ninety patients with CHFDR were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 45 cases in each group.Control group was treated with furosemide,while treatment group was treated with uling Xingren Gancao Decoction on the basis of control group.The total effective rate,urine output,body mass index,N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proBNP),New York College of Cardiology cardiac function classification(NYHA),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),TCM main and secondary disease scores,length of hospital stay and mortality were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of treatment group was higher than control group(P＜0.05),and the urine output and LVEF of both groups were higher than before treatment,which were higher in treatment group than control group,while the body mass index,NT-proBNP,NYHA,and the scores of TCM main and secondary symptoms in both groups were lower than before treatment,which were lower in treatment group than control group(P＜0.05);the length of hospital stay in treatment group was lower than control group(P＜0.05),and there was no significant difference in mortality between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Fuling Xingren Gancao Decoction combined with furosemide can improve the clinical efficacy,significantly diuretic,improve cardiac function,reduce the score of TCM major and secondary symptoms,and shorten the length of hospital stay,but has no significant effect on mortality.
