Application of in situ detection of exosomal non-coding RNAs in tumor diagnosis and TCM Research
Exosomal non-coding RNAs(EXO-NCRNAs)are dysregulated in various types of tumors and have a clear correlation with tumor occurrence and development, making them potential liquid biopsy biomarkers for tumors. In recent years, many traditional Chinese medicines, including monomers, formulations, have been found to play anti-tumor roles by regulating the expression of EXO-NCRNAs,suggesting that exosomes have the potential to become new targets for tumor treatment, and the detection of EXO-NCRNAs can contribute to the evaluation of the therapeutic efficacy and the mechanistic research of traditional Chinese medicine components in anti-tumor treatment. This review summarized the traditional detection methods and new biosensing strategies for EXO-NCRNAs,introduced the research progress on its application in tumor diagnosis, and discussed the potential prospects of their application in traditional Chinese medicine.
