Clinical observation on Jiawei Guifu Wuling Decoction combined with milrinone in treatment of chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with heart failure and its effects on cardiac function
Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of modified Guifu Wuling Decoction combined with milrinone on chronic pulmonale heart disease complicated with heart failure and its effects on cardiopulmonary function and related biomarkers.Methods 90 patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with heart failure were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 45 cases in each group.Control group was treated milrinone combined with conventional Western medical treatment;observation group was treated with modified Wuling Decoction on the basis of control group.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared,and the changes in TCM pattern score,partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),blood oxygen saturation(SaO2),partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),end-systolic diameter(LVESD),ejection fraction(LVEF)and the contents of NT-proBNP,sST2 and ET-1 were compared before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P＜0.05);the TCM syndrome scores of palpitations,shortness of breath and fatigue,chills and limb edema,PaCO2,LVEDD,LVESD,NT-proBNP,sST2 and ET-1 levels in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and were lower in treatment group than control group;PaO2,SaO2,and LVEF levels were higher than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and were higher in control group than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Modified Guifu Wuling Decoction combined with milrinone can effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease and heart failure,improve cardiopulmonary function,lower the levels of serum NT-proBNP,sST2,ET-1 and other markers,and the treatment effect is satisfactory.
