Clinical observation on laparoscopic combined with modified Cangfu Daotan Decoction in treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of laparoscopy and modified Cangfu Daotan Decoction in treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods 72 patients with PCOS were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 36 cases in each group.Control group was treated with laparoscopy,while treatment group was treated with Cangfu Daotan Decoction on the basis of control group.The comprehensive therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared;the TCM syndrome score,the levels of estradiol(E2),testosterone(T),luteinizing hormone(LH),luteinizing hormone/ovarian hormone(LH/FSH),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),triglycerides(TG),and total cholesterol(TC)of the two groups were measured,and the pregnancy rates of the two groups at 6 months after surgery were evaluated.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group(P＜0.05);TCM syndrome integral,T,LH,LH/FSH,HOMA-IR,TG,and TC levels in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and were significantly lower in treatment group than control group(P＜0.05);both groups showed a significant increase in E2 levels than those before treatment,and was significantly higher in treatment group than control group;the pregnancy rate at 6 months after surgery in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopy combined with modified Cangfu Daotan Decoction significantly improves the clinical effect of treating PCOS,loweres blood sugar and lipid levels,and increases pregnancy rate.
