To summarize the experience of Prof.CHENG Chou-fu in treating dilated cardiomyopathy,which is a difficult clinical disease.This article describes the theory of"qi deficiency,phlegm and stasis"in the treatment of dilated cardiomyopathy by Prof.CHENG Chou-fu,discusses in detail the treatment principles and experiences based on the theory of"qi deficiency,phlegm and stasis"from three points,analyzes the treatment principles and experiences based on the theory of"qi deficiency,phlegm and stasis"from three aspects of"benefiting qi and nourishing the heart and unimpeded cardiac mechanism","broadening the chest and regulating qi,clearing heat and resolving phlegm","promoting qi and activating blood circulation and eliminating stasis to bring about new life".An experimental case is attached to show the application and efficacy of the theory of"qi deficiency,phlegm and stasis"in the clinical treatment of dilated cardiomyopathy.
