Dirhodium-catalyzed Desaturative[3+2]Cycloaddition of Cumene and β-Dicarbonyl Compound
Dihydrofuran was an important structural skeleton of natural products and active molecules, and there was no report on the construction of such compounds through the cyclization reaction of inert alkanes and β-dicarbonyl compounds. In this study,we reported that dirhodium/NFSI can catalyze the reaction of inert cumene and β-dicarbonyl compounds in the presence of NaHCO3 by desaturation process and[3+2]cycloaddition to obtain twelve dihydrofuran compounds 3aa~3fb.The yield up to 50%.The structure of all products were confirmed by 1H NMR,13C NMR,HR-MS(ESI)spectro-scopic techniques.
