The Influence of the Polarity of Auxiliary Dispersant on the Performance of Bentonite-based Lubricating Greases
Bentonite-based lubricating greases are common types of lubricating greases.Currently,the addition of auxiliary dispersant is commonly adopted to improve the dispersion of bentonite in lubricating greases,but the influence of the polarity of auxiliary dispersant on the performance of bentonite-based lubricating greases is not yet clear.The influence of the polarity of auxiliary dispersant on the bentonite-based lubricating greases was evaluated through rheological and shear performance analysis.It was found that when the acentricfactor of the dispersing agent's polarity reaches 0.6,the dispersing effect is optimized.(Charts8 Tables5 References17)
