Organic borates are important additives in the field of lubricants,primarily serving as an antioxidant,friction reducer,and anti-wear agent.The mechanism of organic borates was briefly introduced,and the organic borates were classified according to the active elements they contain,following the research history of the organic borates.Additionally,the main preparation methods and properties of organic borates were summarized,and the future research direction was prospected.(Charts0 Tables0 References45)
