Characterization of Antiwear Additives in Thermal Stability and Corrosivity Tests of Aerospace Lubricants
Test methods for aerospace turbine engine lubricants:Determination of thermal stability and corrosivity were adopted to test 5 mm2/s aerospace turbine engine lubricants of different brands. The morphology and composition characteristics of the metal sheet surface after the test were analyzed. The research results showed that the corrosivity characteristics of phosphorus and sulfur additives were obvious in the high temperature test at 274 ℃ for different formulation systems, but in the sulfur-rich formulation system, the influence of phosphorus was drastically weakened.(Charts10 Tables4 Reference1)
