Biomass raw material of corn stalk was used to obtain stalk tar through thermal cracking and rapid condensation, which was treated through distillation, extraction and oxidation. In the distillation process, the heavy and light components of stalk tar were separated, and the heavy component obtained was bio-asphalt.The feasibility and practicability of bio-asphalt in road engineering were verified and improved by studying the physical properties of bio-asphalt and the road performance of asphalt binder.
