Load Analysis of Epoxy Resin on Battery Managers Under Humid and Hot Conditions
The battery manager controls the charging and discharging process of the power battery.The cop-per conductor on it is connected with the epoxy resin to form a plastic seal.After the wet steam enters the plastic seal device,it will cause the moisture expansion stress and steam stress,which will greatly affect the reliability of the battery.The maximum steam stress and the combined stress of moisture and heat in the cav-ity in the epoxy resin on the test piece were analyzed innovatively by using the thick-walled spherical mod-el,and the results were compared with those calculated by the finite element method.Through comparison,it is found that it is more reasonable to use the thick-walled sphere model to analyze the vapor stress value inside the hygroscopic materials such as epoxy resin and predict the maximum combined stress on the inner wall of the cavity at the dangerous position of the device in the humid and hot environment.
