Effect of Curing Conditions on the Mechanical Properties of Benzoxazine Resin-Based Materials
Because of the characteristics of high temperature resistance, high thermal stability,no compo-nent overflow after curing, benzoxazine resin-based composites is widely used in the high temperature work-ing area such as the rear section of the domestic C919 large passenger aircraft. The influence of curing pro-cess conditions such as curing temperature, curing pressure and holding time on the mechanical properties of benzoxazine resin-based composites was evaluated by using the autoclave curing process,in order to se-lect the optimal curing process conditions, and the hygrothermal ageing property of the material at 71℃was also evaluated. The results show that the curing temperature has little effect on the compressive strength and interlaminar shear strength. With the decrease of curing pressure, the compressive strength and nterlaminar shear strength of the materials decrease slightly. With the increase of holding time, the com-pression strength increases slightly, the compression modulus decreases slightly, and the shear strength changes little.Compared with the interlaminar shear strength under the dry condition, the decrease of inter-laminar shear strength under the hygrothermal ageing condition of 71℃is less than 7%,so the material has excellent performance in the aspect of resistance to hygrothermal ageing property.
