Study on Stress-Strain and Dynamic Strength of Carbon Nanotube Modified Concrete
To investigate the strengthening effect of carbon nanotubes(CNTs)on concrete at different stress stages,a 100 mm diameter split Hopkinson compression bar experiment was conducted to investigate the ef-fects of factors such as impact rate and CNTs content on the toughness and impact resistance of concrete. The experimental results show that the addition of CNTs significantly improves the impact performance of cement-based materials, and the dynamic compressive strength and dynamic strength increasing factor in-crease linearly with the increase of impact rate.At the same loading level, with the increase of CNTs con-tent,the dynamic compressive strength first increases and then decreases, with a maximum increase of 23.7%.Adding an appropriate amount of CNTs to concrete can improve its overall strength and density, thereby enhancing its dynamic mechanical properties.
