Taking the heat tracing system for solution conveying pipeline for Lyocell fiber production as an example,the techni-cal points and design methods of the heat tracing system for high-viscosity solution conveying pipeline were introduced.The re-sults showed that in the production process of Lyocell fibers,the high-viscosity solution conveying pipeline adopted a hot water jacket circulating heat tracing system which was regulated by a plate heat exchanger to ensure the optimal characteristic state of the material during conveying;the design of the solution conveying pipeline includes the design of the inner jacketed pipe and the design of the outer insulation supply pipe;the flow rate of the heat medium should be controlled at 0.5-1.0 m/s in the design of the jacketed pipes,and thus the corresponding flow rate and pressure drop should be calculated;and the flow rate of the heat me-dium should be controlled at 0.5-1.5 m/s in the design of insulation supply pipes,and thus the corresponding pipeline specifi-cations,flow rate and pressure drop should be calculated to ensure the conveying temperature of the solution.
