Technical and economic analysis of high-concentration hydrogen peroxide production from fixed bed to slurry bed anthraquinone hydrogenation
Taking the transformation of a 12.4 kt/a fixed bed device into a 20 kt/a slurry bed reactor for an industrial demon-stration plant of anthraquinone hydrogenation into hydrogen peroxide as an example,the feasibility and efficiency of a new process for producing high-concentration hydrogen peroxide by slurry bed anthraquinone method were explored.The results showed that compared with the fixed bed anthraquinone hydrogenation into hydrogen peroxide production process,the slurry bed hydrogen per-oxide production process offered the hydrogenation efficiency of 11-13 g/L and the hydrogen peroxide mass fraction over 40%and provided the entire process of high safety due to a fully acidic environment when it adopted a new type of high-capacity working fluid,efficient microspherical catalyst for anthraquinone hydrogenation,slurry bed loop reactor,countercurrent oxidation reactor,new rotary extraction tower and high-temperature vacuum dehydration system;and after the transformation into the slurry bed hydrogen peroxide production process,the device operated smoothly with a hydrogenation efficiency over 11 g/L and a hydrogen peroxide mass fraction of 41.0%,the material consumption and the discharge of three wastes were significantly reduced,the en-ergy consumption per unit product was reduced from 388.56 kg standard oil/t to 258.96 kg standard oil/t and the total annual profit reached 10.25 million RMB yuan,achieving an effective transformation of technical advantages to economic benefits.
