Numerical simulation of hydrogen leakage combustion explosion of marine hydrogen storage tanks
As a renewable energy source, hydrogen is clean, environmentally friendly, highly utilized and widely available. However, the high risk of hydrogen flammability and explosion makes it difficult to expand its applica-tion.Taking the hydrogen fuel cell ship located on the inland river bank as an example, the 35 MPa hydrogen storage tank model is established by using PH AST and FLACS software, and CFD simulation and numerical anal-ysis are carried out.Taking variables such as leakage location, leakage aperture, temperature and pressure as the main calculation conditions, the potential dangerous scenarios in the process of ship docking and filling are simulated, and the accidents are analyzed. The influence range of hydrogen leakage, explosion and thermal radi-ation accidents is obtained by combining two-dimensional and three-dimensional methods. On this basis,specif-ic measures to reduce risks are proposed to provide important reference for the safety management of hydrogen storage tanks and marine hydrogen refueling stations on hydrogen fuel cell ships in the future.
