Analysis of the Five Main Characteristics of Chinese Path to Modernization
Chinese path to modernization is a new type of modernization that the Communist Party of China has led the Chinese people to create through unremitting struggle on the basis of combining its national conditions and the general trend of world development,which has broken the traditional sin-gle model of Western modernization.Judging from the main characteristics,Chinese path to moderni-zation is a modernization with a huge population,a modernization with common prosperity for all the people,a modernization in which material civilization and spiritual civilization are harmonized,a mod-ernization in which man and nature live in harmony,and a modernization that takes the road of peace-ful development.These five main characteristics proposed by the 20th National Congress of the Com-munist Party of China clearly reflect the unique characteristics of Chinese path to modernization com-pared with traditional Western modernization,which provide a steady stream of endogenous driving force for the development of Chinese path to modernization.An in-depth analysis of the above five characteristics is conducive to better grasping Chinese path to modernization and better building a modern socialist power.
