China's"Framed"National Image:Deconstruction and Reconstruction
At present,China-related discourse in Western countries predominantly"frames"specific a-gendas of China's national image at material,conceptual,and behavioral levels,transforming it into widely circulated information products and public knowledge within their societies.Faced with such discourse on China's national image influenced by Western political and social practices,we not only need to break through the past impractical framing of China's national image based on Western imagi-nation but also need to explore the subjectivity of China's national image in current practices.Levera-ging Chinese-style modernization in international communication,we can provide a new cognitive framework and discourse space for understanding how the world interacts with China.Additionally,at a deeper level,it is necessary to construct a comprehensive system of international communication for China and utilize the insights,knowledge,and theories derived from addressing local practical issues to promote the comprehensive reconstruction of China's national image.
