On the Inherent Matrix and Transmutation Logic of Agamben's Sovereign Mode of Operation
In the realm of sovereignty,Agamben constructs a pervasive and ubiquitous image of sover-eignty and discourse logic,which is not only different from Foucault's view of sovereign power as a historical process of gradual retreat,but also distinct from the globalized capitalist domination of im-perial sovereignty that transcends the nation-state described by Negri and Hart.He regards the pro-duction of bare life as the internal matrix of the original political activities of sovereignty,and uses the mechanism of prohibition,inclusion-exclusion,and the state of exception as the framework to explain the interactive relationship between life,sovereignty,and politics,in order to criticize the hypocrisy of capitalist democracy.Agamben has a critical stance of radical political philosophy,and his sensitive and provocative explanatory framework is easy to resonate and attract attention.Although it does not provide a legitimate basis for people to obtain freedom and liberation,it provides a new perspective for examining people's living conditions and domination situation under the governance model of biopoliti-cal technology.
