A Local Loss Reduction Method Based on Injected Power Sensitivity
Due to the unbalanced distribution of grid structure, power supply and load, the local line loss is often excessively high in grid operation, which seriously affected the economic gird operation. However, the global optimization methods often can not achieve ideal results. This paper proposes a local loss reduction method based on injected power sensitivity, which can reduce the loss of local lines quickly and effectively on the premise that the whole network loss rate does not rise.Firstly, the model of loss reduction rate is established, which can transform the problem of reducing the line loss rate into the problem of adjusting the power injection. Then it determins the generator nodes and the reactive power compensation nodes which need adjusting in the process of the loss reduction by sensitivity calculation and calculates the adjustment of injected power according to the principle of equal and opposite adjustment in pairs. Finally, according to the requirements of the grid security constraints, logarithmic barrier penalty function is used to modify the adjustment which causes the system to be off-limited.Through analyzing the example of IEEE 118 node system, the effectiveness and rapidity of this method were verified.
