Optimal Allocation of Energy Storage System in Distribution Network
Energy storage system in distribution network can stabilize peak load,reduce peak-valley difference,improve the power supply reliability,and decrease grid loss.The economic value brought by energy storage system introduced in distribution network are studied,including reducing investment in generation side as well as transmission and distribution side of the building capacity and decreasing the power failure expenses for important users.Economic benefits obtained by energy storage system through decreasing loss of power grid and making use of time of use(TOU)price to reduce electricity tariff are analyzed.In the mean time,considering the primarily capital cost and operation and maintenance cost of energy storage system,the capacity optimal allocation model for different types of energy storage system is developed under the optimal economic conditions.The model was solved and analyzed in an example of power grid.
