Multi-scale Numerical Simulation of Transmission Steel Tube Tower
In order to study the complex stress state and failure mechanism of large crossing transmission steel tube tower key nodes and local details in the different loading conditions,numerical analysis software is adopted for coupling connection of the key nodes in different scale units in a large-scale analysis model.The steel tower structure behavior consistent multi-scale finite element analysis model is established; the power transmission pole tower consistent multi-scale parallel computing is implemented.Through the comparative analysis of the mechanical properties between this model and the traditional truss hybrid macro-scale model,and based on multi-scale model,is simulated and the node failure mode is judged.The study has shown that the establishment of a multi-scale numerical analysis model can well simulate the key node failure mechanism of transmission steel tower under complex stress state.
