Relay Protection Configuration for Pumped Storage Generator
This paper introduces the requirements for relay protection configuration of pumped storage generator,and discusses the electrical commutation stretegies for different pumped storage genertor protections.The special requirements and the differential protection range for the back-to-back starting of pumped storage generator are analyzed.Several common issues are discussed about the pumped storage generator protection design.
