Detection and Law of TOC in Water and Steam System in Power Plants
This paper detects and analyzes the total organic carbon (TOC) based on different water sources and different treatment processes of water treatments, and discusses TOC removal effects of different water treatment processes and reveals the TOC removal law in the water treatment and thermal system. The result shows that all TOCs in desalted water from different water sources can meet the control requirements by reasonable system design.By comparing TOC removal capability of different feed water equipments and combining with the different equipment removal mechanism,it is revealed that the reverse osmosis and anion exchangers have highest TOC removal efficiency, followed by activated carbon filters,pre-treatment and cation exchangers, and the average TOC removal rate of ultrafiltration and mixed ion exchangers is lowest. The detected water and steam systems are all in good condition, indicating that operations of the detected make-up water treatment system and condensate fine treatment system are in good condition.
