Optimization of Medium Voltage Cable Network Based on Total Power Supply Capability
Optimization of urban distribution network structure has critical impacts on the power supply capability and equipment utilization.Based on the "N-1" principle, load transfer capability of distribution network was studied, and a new method of calculating the power supply capability was proposed through contact relation matrix. The total power supply capability was defined, and an optimal planning model of medium voltage cable network structure using switching substations was given, which takes the least comprehensive annual cost of investment as objective function and maximum power supply capability, capacity release and contact between substations as constraints. The model was solved by mathematical software package, and the practical sample verified the practicability of the model and algorithm.Compared with the conventional optimization planning, power supply capability and economic benefit are improved significantly.
