Comparative Study on Power Grid Key Indicators Between Guangzhou and International Advanced Cities
“The Pearl River Delta Region Reform and Development Plan (2008-2020)” requires building Guangzhou into an international metropolis,which highly demands safe and reliable electricity supply in Guangzhou area.But at present,Guangzhou power supply capacity and service level cannot completely meet the demand.In this paper,compared with the power grids of such internationally advanced cities as New York and London,Guangzhou power grid is analyzed from the four dimensions:the power supply reliability,safety,efficiency and environmental protection.And 10 key indicators,including the customer average interruption duration,are selected for the in-depth analysis of the gap and main reasons.Finally,suggestions are proposed to improve Guangzhou power grid.
