Influence of Switching Frequency and Modulation Voltage Amplitude of SVPWM Inverter on Output Voltage Harmonic
This paper introduces the inverter based on the space-vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM),and analyzes output voltage harmonic using two dimensions Fourier progression tool,a kind of decomposition solution. It is indicated that both the switching frequency and the modulation voltage amplitude have a certain effect on harmonic content. The switching frequency produces small influence on total harmonic distortion (THD),but when switching frequency changes the distribution of harmonic content is changed obviously; the modulation voltage amplitude has large influence on THD,i.e.the more the modulation voltage amplitude changes, the less THD changes. Finally, the SVPWM inverter is simulated by Simulink in MATLAB and the simulation waveform of the output voltage is also presented to the validate analysis results.
