UHF-Based Online Monitoring System for GIS Partial Discharge
Partial discharge (PD) on-line monitoring is a major method to detect GIS insulation defects.In a 220kV substation of Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company,UHF method was applied to collect PD signals for PD online monitoring system,which are transmitted through optical conversion unit to the system control center and processed by the central computer to form the characteristic parameters.Thereby,the on-line monitoring of insulation condition can be achieved.
