Index Evaluation of Line Loss Based on Principal Component Analysis
The index evaluation of line loss is a scientific method to make quantitative analysis of line loss through a series of index calculation, which provides power sector with the theoretical basis to implement loss reduction measures.Currently, the most widely used line loss index evaluation method depends on expert subjective evaluation of index weight. To solve this problem,a new index evaluation method,Principal Component Analysis (PCA),is proposed.PCA is a kind of multivariate statistical analysis method based on objective index data.In this paper,a PCA-based line loss index evaluation model is established and optimized in combination with theoretical line loss. Finally,a simple example illustrates the process to solve index evaluation problem based on PCA.It is verified that evaluation results based on PCA are reasonable and reliable.
