Effects of Sodium in Water-Steam System on Ultra-Supercritical Generating Units and Countermeasures
Sodium compounds (NaC1,Na2SO4,NaOH and Na2SiO3),which exist in the water-steam system of the unit and can dissolve into the steam, then enter the steam path of the turbine, are "hazardous impurities" endangering the safe operation of ultra-supercritical units.Sodium chloride has high solubility in steam, easy to be dissolved by steam and carried to the turbine, then deposits in the blades forming "salification" phenomenon.Control targets are set through monitoring, the technical means are improved for accurately measuring the sodium content, and the chemical treatment system is optimized for the effective control.
