This paper mainly probes into PD testing and location technology for distribution network 10 kV cable,with a focus on the principle and mode based on pulse current method.Then in combination with the connection modes of distribution network cable system,the PD location technology based on pulse current method is further discussed,with a view to providing reference and direction to the distribution network cable PD detection applicatio.
