This paper puts forward an analytical method based on eigenvalue sensitivity of PSS transfer function and damping ratio of PSS magnification sensitivity,for PSS allocation and magnification tuning,respectively.The two-area four-machine system is taken as an example to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
