Assessment Index System for Smart Grid Supported Smart City Based on City Development Needs Theory
The smart city has set off a massive wave of construction worldwide.It has developed rapidly from the concept and models phase to the plan and construction phase since 2009 when the smart city concept was put forward.As an important part of the smart city construction,smart grid is the important foundation and objective needs of urban development.Thereupon,this paper first introduces the theory and model of City Development Needs based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.Then,by defining the assessment index system for smart grid supported smart city and the calculation method,this paper concludes through a case study that smart grid plays an important role in supporting smart city development,especially in promoting the scientification of city management,the intelligence of infrastructure,the refinement of public service,the efficiency of energy utilization,and the modernization of industry development.
