Coordinated Control of Microgrid with Several Distributed Generation Units
Different characteristics of distributed generation (DG) units are considered in controller design according to the coordinated control problems of microgrid with several DG units.Centralized and decentralized control are integrated using multi-agent technology to ensure the stable microgrid operation when it switches between grid-connected and islanding mode, and the distribution of DG's output is optimized by energy management system based on multi-agent technology.A sine signal synchronized with distribution network is introduced as reference voltage in voltage/frequency control, with simple structure and rapid response, which ensures the stable microgrid as well as the synchronization with distribution network, and reduces the difficulty in reconnection.Changes of DG's output and load in different operation modes are performed on a PSCAD simulation software package, and the results demonstrate the correctness and validity of the control scheme proposed in this paper.
