Optimization Algorithm for Two-Terminal Fault Location on Power Transmission Line
This paper presents the two-terminal fault location optimization algorithm and improvement measures based on the distributed parameter model and the calculation for ranging for two terminal electrical quantities.This algorithm makes a detailed analysis on the relation for each point between its voltage and current in case of a line fault.Meanwhile,this method also utilizes the resistive characteristic of grounding resistance to identify the fault location in higher accuracy without the interference of line load,system impedance and transition resistance.According to the errors of the distributed-parameter wires and circuit measuring,it puts forward the improvement measures,and enhances the fault location scheme.
