基于模块化多电平变换器的STATCOM控制策略研究

提出了一种基于模块化多电平变换器(Modular Multilevel Converter,MMC)的新型无功补偿装置M-STATCOM,其具有高度模块化、电压等级高、损耗低、等效开关频率高等优点.分析了M-STATCOM的结构特点以及其工作原理,针对其无功补偿的运行工况提出了一种双环控制策略,其中电流内环采用比例谐振(proportional resonant,PR)控制器实现了对于负载无功功率的补偿.对11电平的M-STATCOM进行仿真和实验研究,仿真和实验结果表明本文提出的控制策略的有效性和理论分析的正确性.
STATCOM Control Strategy Based on Modular Multilevel Converter
M-STATCOM,a new type of static synchronous compensator (STATCOM),is presented based on modular multilevel converter (MMC),which is superior in high modularity,high voltage level,low loss and equivalent switching with high frequency.This paper elaborates the its characteristics and operating principles,and proposes a dualloop control strategy for the operation condition of its reactive power compensation,where proportional resonant (PR) controller is used in current inner loop for load reactive power compensation.Simulation experiments have been done on eleven-level M-STATCOM,whose results have validated the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
