Case Study on Online Radio Frequency Monitoring of Generator Partial Discharge
The safe operation of generator directly affects the safety of power grid.Electrical fault of generator is one of the major equipment failures,and the stator winding insulation breakdown accidents take up about a third of the total generator accidents.The output short circuit of generator seems to be sudden accident,however,it develops through the process from insulation damage to short circuit,hence the on-line monitoring devices are used to detect the process.The practical case study reveals that the application of online monitoring devices should focus on supervising the discharge state and process,give priority to trend management,and take accident alarm as auxiliary.
