The accident of operating crank arm fracture made the circuit breaker unable to break brake the in the process of protection check.This paper conducts comprehensive analysis of the accident cause from the perspective of structure characteristics of circuit breaker operating crank arm,fracture morphology,material properties and so on,and points out the defects of the design and manufacture.
