A New Generation of Lightning Detection and Location System for Shanghai Power Grid
This paper introduces a new generation of digital detection station and its positioning principle,and expounds the construction of Shanghai power grid lightning monitoring system in 2013.And the important role of the system in Shanghai power grid operation is discussed frm four aspects:rapid positioning of the lightning fault location,lightning accident identification,lightning parameter statistics and transmission line lightning protection performance evaluation.Then forecast is conducted about the further application of lightning detection and location system.
