Development of virtual instrument-based calibrator for electronic transformer
The development of virtual instrument-based calibrator for electronic transformer is introduced in this paper.Transformer calibrator is used to verify electronic voltage transformer and electronic current transformer.With the development of modern industry,the demand of the quality of transformer calibrator has became higher and higher.The virtual instrument introduced in this paper is the perfect combination of the modern computer technology and the instrument technology.Its distinguishing feature is that it will measure the analog signals into digital signals by a data acquisition card and the software can replace all the hardware equipment to achieve different kinds of functions.The calibration system adopted the PCI-6221 data acquisition which produced by NI company from America.This paper has concretely introduced the hardware and the operational principle of the whole virtual instrument-based calibration system which use IEC 60044-7/8 and IEC 61850-9-2 standards for communication between merging unit and computer.
