The Impact of Socialized Agricultural Services on the Agricultural Ecological Efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt:From the Perspective of Labor and Capital Element Allocation
Socialized agricultural services act as an important way to achieve the green transformation of agricultural production. The article evaluates the agricultural ecological efficiency using panel data from 110 prefecture-level cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2009 to 2021.It employs fixed effect models, mediating effect models, and threshold effect models to explore the impact of socialized agricultural services on agricultural ecological efficiency and its internal mechanisms.According to the research findings, the agricultural ecological efficiency of the Yangtze River Economic Belt generally presents a"U"-shaped trend, and the upstream agricultural ecological efficiency is higher than that of the midstream, downstream and overall areas.Socialized agricultural services play a significant promoting role in agricultural ecological efficiency and can indirectly improve the agricultural ecological efficiency by optimizing the allocation of labor and capital elements.Threshold tests further indicate that socialized agricultural services have a marginally increasing nonlinear impact on agricultural ecological efficiency. To this end,the Yangtze River Economic Belt should expedite the improvement of the socialized agricultural service system to enhance agricultural ecological efficiency.
