The Influence of Basic Community Elderly Care Service Supply on the Life Satisfaction of the Elderly——The Mediating Role of Self-rated Health Changes
Based on the data of the 2018 China Longitudinal Survey on Influencing Factors of Elderly Health(CLHLS 2018),multiple linear regression,stepwise regression,bootstrap and other research methods were used to analyze the effect of basic community elderly care service supply on the life satisfaction of the elder-ly,and self-rated health changes were introduced as mediating variables to explore its influencing mecha-nism.It is found that the supply of basic community elderly care services has a positive impact on the life satisfaction of the elderly,and the self-rated health changes can have an indirect effect on the life satisfac-tion of the elderly.In the process of building a community old-age service system,attention should be paid to the role of basic community old-age services,and the advantages of government procurement of public services should be brought into full play.
