In the face of the ecological problems of today's society,"green capitalism"proposes an im-provement program without changing the capitalist system.However,the ecological problems of today's soci-ety are largely caused by the inherent contradictions of the capitalist mode of production,so the idea of"green capitalism"is bound by the insurmountable inherent contradictions of the capitalist system itself,and its proposition is embodied as a non-realistic fantasy,and has repeatedly fallen into difficulties in prac-tice.Based on this,in order to fundamentally solve the social ecological problems,it is necessary to make a realistic,powerful and essential critique of"green capitalism"under the perspective of historical material-ism,and to explore a practical path beyond"green capitalism"under the guidance of the basic principles of scientific socialism.The practical path beyond"green capitalism"is guided by the basic principles of scien-tific socialism.
