With the infiltration of art into urban public spaces,the application of installation art is also re-ceiving increasing attention.Its presentation methods are becoming more diverse,creating a new and inter-active atmosphere,which revitalizes neglected and idle urban spaces.In the comprehensive development of public spaces,installation art also faces many challenges and opportunities,such as maintenance and up-keep,public acceptance and understanding,and the balance between art and business.There are also cer-tain opportunities for future development in the application of technological innovation,community participa-tion and cooperation,sustainable development and environmental protection,cultural exchange and urban image shaping.The paper emphasizes the importance and development potential of installation art in public spaces,thus prompting people to explore the in-depth research and practice of installation art in public spaces,in order to create a better and livable urban environment.
