Ethnomusicology studies music not only in its intrinsic form but also in the context of natural and cultural influences.Based on the developmentprocess of ethnomusicology,this article reviews the current a-chievements in Tibetan traditional music,discusses the application and practice of ethnomusicology in the study of Tibetan traditional music,and further summarizes and organizes the cultural integration between Han and Tibetan music.
