Operational Modes,Service Dilemmas, and Optimization Suggestions for Community Elderly Care Service Stations in Beijing
With the increasingly severe issue of population aging in China, family and institutional care are unable to meet the current demands for elderly care, making it urgent to develop community-based home care.To this end,Beijing has specifically adopted"community elderly care service stations"as an impor-tant measure.Currently, there are four operational modes for these stations in Beijing. However, during their development stage, they face various problems, including incomplete policy formulation and review mechanisms at the government level, operational obstacles and management negligence at the station level, and consumption concept limitations at the elderly level. Therefore, this article focuses on the aforemen-tioned issues as the main research and subsequently proposes development suggestions. From the government's perspective,it emphasizes the participation of its own and external forces to ensure the smooth implementation of elderly care policies;from the perspective of the stations themselves,it establishes a new"professional talent+local resident"visiting model based on the actual needs of the elderly and changes the operational and management mechanisms;from the perspective of the elderly,it promotes their accept-ance of new things and cultivates their consumption awareness.
