The Influence of Regional Common Prosperity of Provinces and Cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt on Service Trade Exports
The Yangtze River Economic Belt,as an important platform and strategic fulcrum for national development,bears the country's political goals and strategic tasks.Common prosperity is an essential re-quirement of socialism and a key feature of Chinese-style modernization.Based on the panel data of 10 prov-inces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2012 to 2019,this paper empirically analyzes the influence of regional common prosperity of provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt on service trade exports by constructing a two-way fixed mode.The results show that:(1)the common prosperity of provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt can significantly promote the export of service trade;(2)the results are still robust by excluding Zhejiang Province,the"demonstration area of common prosperity",adding missing variables and eliminating outliers.(3)In terms of heterogeneity,the common prosperity of provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt has a greater impact on the export of service trade in the eastern region and areas with high communication infrastructure level.Based on this,this paper proposes that local governments should strengthen the implementation of the policy of common prosperity,increase the development of the central and western regions and strengthen the con-struction of communication infrastructure.
