Engels'Conception of the Future Society and Its Enlightenment on Promoting Chinese Path to Modernization
Engels'scientific conception of future social modernization is closely related to his criticism of capitalist modernization.Engels'starting from the fundamental position of historical materialism,revealed the blindness,anti-ecological and inhumane nature of capitalist modernization development.While clarif-ying the inherent contradictions of capitalist modernization,he pointed out a new plan for advancing towards future social modernization,which is a"common union composed of all members of society"occupying the means of production,achieving"contradiction reconciliation"between humans and nature,and aiming for the free and comprehensive development of humans.Engels understood the meaning of modernization from the dual dimensions of criticism and reconstruction,which provided a theoretical reference for us to under-stand and build Chinese path to modernization,and inspired us to take socialist public ownership as the bas-ic principle,adhere to the harmonious coexistence of man and nature,and adhere to the supremacy of the people to promote the development of China's modernization.
