In order to optimize the current situation of workers'portable instruments close to the filter in measuring the radioactivity level of ventilation filters in nuclear facilities, the feasibility of placing dose rate measuring equipment inside the ventilation filters for real-time monitoring was simulated. The Geiger Miller(GM)tube detector and scintillator detector were simulated and analyzed by using MCNP code, and the optimization design was carried out.The results show that the method is feasible and has good application prospects.
