Research and Application of Remote Calibration and Monitoring System for Electric Energy Measurement Devices
This paper introduces a remote calibration and monitoring system for gateway electric energy metering devices,com-prising three components:the main station system,remote monitoring equipment for electric energy metering devices,and com-munication channels.By arranging standard energy meters and associated monitoring equipment on-site,real-time or scheduled collection of pulse,voltage,current,and other signals from gateway energy meters can be achieved,enabling monitoring of the status of energy meters and secondary circuits.Through remote acquisition and data processing,the main station system can construct functions such as error testing,wiring inspection,harmonic analysis,status evaluation,abnormal alarm,etc.,thereby realizing remote inspection and operational status monitoring of electric energy metering devices.The introduced remote calibra-tion system for electric energy metering devices has been developed and demonstrated in the 110 kV Taoyuan substation pro-ject.It has successfully accomplished online monitoring of the station's gate meters and transformer secondary circuits,thereby enhancing the monitoring and management of the state of electric energy meters before the measurement verification cycle ar-rives.
